Steroids, the ultimate answer to all biological inadequacies, are comparatively recent inventions. The most recent one of them is Chlorodehydromethylandrostenediol (Halodrol) which came into the public eye less than a decade ago. It was in 2005 that this exceptionally useful and effective steroid was introduced in the nutrition market of the US , christened ‘prohormone’ by the Gaspari Nutrition Company. The drug was not included in the list of guarded substance regulations which made it a product of ‘grey market’, neither completely boycotted nor openly acknowledged. Since its conception in 2005, it has met with many controversial stories some accusing it of being a doping agent and others denying it.
